Walkers are Welcome is a nationwide initiative to encourage tourism by promoting the local area as being welcoming to walkers. Here in Spilsby and Hundleby we do this by organising monthly walks, ranging from short pavement strolls to longer countryside hikes.

Upcoming Walks

  • Tuesday 13th January 2026 – Meet 10.00am at Gunby layby (Grid Ref: TF467674 www///campus.expiring.float) for a 4 mile circular walk via Candlesby.
  • Friday 6th February – Meet 10.15am at Partney Village Hall (refreshments from 9.30am) – (Grid Ref: TF411684 w3w///radio.arriving.newsstand) for a 3.5 mile there and back walk to Skendleby.
  • Thursday 12th March – Meet 10.00am at Post Office Lane car park, Spilsby (Grid Ref: TF404661 w3w///wildfires.serious.spits) for a 4 mile circular walk via Partney.
  • Monday 27th April – Meet 10.00am at Boston Road car park, Spilsby (Grid Ref: TF401661 w3w///measuring.gravy.toenail) for a 5 mile circular walk via Keal Carr.
  • Thursday 28th May – Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival. Please see festival website for further details. www.woldsoutdoorfestival.com
  • Saturday 20th June – Meet 10.00am at Belchford Church (Grid Ref: TF294754 w3w///holds.troubled.snuggled) for choice of 2 walks – a 4 mile or 8 mile circular walk via Fulletby or Scamblesby.
