We have a varied programme of Speakers, Demonstrations, Social Events and Outings.

Visitors and new members are always welcome to attend any meeting.

We are part of the Marshwold Group which is an association of ten local Institutes, which has two Group Meetings and various other events held during the course of the year.

We are affiliated to the North Lincolnshire Federation of Women’s Institutes, based at Louth, which organises various courses, vocational, social and sporting throughout the year and also has two meetings a year.

We had a very varied programme last year, the highlight of which was a fancy dress party themed on the 1940s to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Spilsby W.I. We enjoyed two super outings to Buckingham Palace and The Deep in Hull. We entered two classes in the Daffodil Show winning a first and a second, and also entered the W.I. Competition at the Spilsby Show. Members have made many knitted garments and blankets for the ROADS charity which sends aid to Romania - this is an ongoing charity which the W.I. supports. The Spilsby Youth Wing challenged the W.I. in a competition to make sponge cakes, and we will shortly be holding a return match - when the WI will challenge the Youth Wing to a fun evening of team competitions.
