| Introducing Our School
Partney is a co-educational Church of England Aided Primary School
and educates children between the ages of approximately four and
a half to eleven years old. The School which is housed in pleasant
modern buildings and has its own playing fields, is situated in
a quiet lane overlooking open countryside. The accommodation comprises
of a hall, three main classrooms, and a smaller room especially
for group teaching together with a new administration block. During
the academic year 1992/93 the two classrooms in the main building
were enlarged.
As an aided School we have very close links with our Parish Church
and local clergy visit regularly.

The School's Mission Statement
We welcome all children from the local community whatever their
parent's beliefs whilst providing a grounding in the Anglican faith
for all our children. We are concerned to nurture attitudes of mutual
respect and responsibility, to foster an awareness of the beliefs
and faiths of others and to ensure that the children in our care
develop their full spiritual, emotional and academic potential.
Partney School is distinguished by the support of its staff for
its Christian foundation and by the active involvement of its Parents,
Governors and Local Clergy. We aim to maintain strong links between
the School, Home, Church and the Local Community.
We encourage children to share our appreciation of our environment
- to care for our School and its grounds, to delight in the ever
changing Countryside which surrounds us and to play our part in
taking care of the World. |

The Aims of the School
In educating the children entrusted to our care we have three main
aims :-
- To encourage and develop the abilities, skills and interests
of each individual child, spiritually, academically, socially,
physically and aesthetically.
- To so motivate each child that he will want to learn, to equip
him with the basic skills and develop the correct aptitudes so
that he may continue to learn throughout his life.
- To help each individual child to take his place in the Christian
community, to live in harmony with others and to be aware of his
responsibilities as well as his rights. We regard every child
as an individual who is to be encouraged to obtain his or her
personal best. We hope that our pupils will grow into happy well
balanced adults who are able to face with equanimity the challenges
and opportunities that lie ahead.
