The Friends of Spilsby

There has recently been a clean up of the town centre in Spilsby.

The event attracted favourable publicity, and the question has been asked, ‘Are we going to do this regularly?’

In order to establish a panel of volunteers, to prevent the same people having to clean the town, it is intended to create ‘The Friends of Spilsby’.

At least 100 volunteers are needed to allow a team of 25 people to undertake voluntary work cleaning the town on a quarterly basis. This adds up to the equivalent of two hours work per volunteer per year.

The crime prevention panel will administer the scheme.
