"A Message in a Bottle"
"The Message in a Bottle scheme is a simple idea designed to encourage
people living on their own to keep their basic personal and medical details
on a standard form.
The "bottle" is kept in the fridge, where the Emergency Services
will know to look for it. Two special stickers will alert them. One is
placed on the inside of the front door, the other on the fridge door.
There is NO COST to the user. All the costs of running the scheme are
borne by the SPILSBY LIONS CLUB.
If more than one person lives in the house, only one bottle is needed,
but each member of the household should complete a separate form, attaching
a passport photo to aid identification.
