| The marketplace was filled with people enjoying Spilsby's Craker Day,
organised by the Spilsby Lions, which is always one of the most popular
events on the town's calendar. Lions' president Sue Oliver said: "It was a lovely day and the feedback we have had has been very positive. "Everybody had a very good day and a lot of the charity stalls did very well. There was good attendance and a nice atmosphere." As in previous years "A Dickens of a Christmas" was the theme. There were many charity stalls, including Macmillan Cancer Support, which
sold homemade cakes and preserves, the Lions providing hot refreshments,
and Spilsby Rotary Club, which supplied mulled wine and took framed photographs.
