Inner Wheel was originally formed as a club for wives of Rotarians.

It is now open to partners and any family members.

The Inner Wheel Club of Spilsby meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6.30 p.m. at the White Hart Hotel in Spilsby for supper and speaker meetings.

Prospective members warmly welcomed to any meeting. For more details ring Arline Cadman on 01 790-752 300.

The meetings often include speakers on a wide range of subjects from local history to flower arranging. There is usually some business to be completed but the emphasis is on a good friendly social gathering.

Within the organisation of Inner Wheel we have many club activities, such as a district quiz and a golf competition. There is also a thriving caravan club. Visiting other clubs is a great way of forging new friendships and pooling ideas.

We hold money raising activities to support local and international needs. For the last few years we could be found at the Spilsby Show at our ‘bubbly & berries’ marquee and have held various money raising functions.

We also often support Rotary in its money raising activities. For instance Rotary held a Ceilidh and we provided the food for what was a very successful evening.

The Inner Wheel held a Murder Mystery on their 2007 Charter evening.
